Predictions 04-05.04.2022

Eintracht Frankfurt vs West Ham | Europa League (05.05.2022, 21:00)

After Eintracht Frankfurt’s 1-2 victory in the first leg of the Europa League, it’s now time for the two teams to square off in the second leg of the competition. Eintracht is on the verge of pulling off another miracle. It was in the previous round that they eliminated Barcelona, who were considered favorites to reach the final. However, even though Eintracht haven’t been able to win a game in the Bundesliga in six of the last seven league rounds, they have beaten both Barcelona and Betis in the European Championship.

On the other hand, West Ham are still battling for a place in the Premier League that will allow them to compete in international events again next season after suffering three consecutive losses to Chelsea, Frankfurt, and Arsenal. Despite having had a successful Europa League campaign, which included victories against Lyon and Sevilla, the Hammers were underdogs going into this match after the first leg was drawn.

Form Guide

Eintracht Frankfurt LWLDWL

After losing 2-0 to Bayer Leverkusen, Eintracht Frankfurt wants to get back on track in their last game.

Eintracht Frankfurt had 45 percent of the ball and nine shots on goal, four of which were on target. A total of 11 shots were attempted by Bayer 04 Leverkusen, with three of them being on target. Bayer Leverkusen scored two goals in the first half, one via Paulinho and the other through Patrik Schick.

Eintracht Frankfurt have only conceded on a few occasions in recent years, and this is one of them. Unfortunately, Eintracht Frankfurt has let their opponents score in six of their last six games, which has cost them 11 goals.

West Ham United LWDLLL

West Ham United and their travelling fans will be looking for a better outcome in this game after suffering a setback to Arsenal in their previous outing in Premier League action.

West Ham United controlled the ball for 56 percent of the game and had eight shots on goal, three of which were on target. Jarrod Bowen (45′) was the only player for West Ham United to register a goal in the match. At the opposite end of the field, Arsenal had 13 efforts on goal, with seven of them going in. Arsenal scored two goals in the 38th and 54th minutes, respectively.

The stats speak for themselves, as West Ham United have been scored against in five of their previous six games, allowing their opponents to score a total of eight goals. As a result, West Ham United’s defensive frailties have been highlighted as a result of this result.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs West Ham Frankfurt Predicted XI

Eintracht Frankfurt Predicted XI: Trapp, Tuta, Hinteregger, Toure, Knauff, Sow, Rode, Kostic, Hauge, Kamada, Paciência.

West Ham United Predicted XI: Areola, Coufal, Dawson, Zouma, Cresswell, Souček, Rice, Bowen, Lanzini, Fornals, Antonio.

Prediction

The Europa League match between the Germans and West Ham will end with a victory or a draw for Eintracht Frankfurt and at least two goals. The home team is in a period of better form and, above all, has long been focused only on European competition.

The Londoners are in a difficult moment with three defeats in a row, which does not bode well for them, plus they are playing for important goals on two fronts and this seems to have taken away a lot of energy from the hammers.

Rangers vs RB Leipzig | Europa League (05.05.2022, 21:00)

The match between Rangers and Leipzig is back one week after the first leg, with the Germans starting from where they left off 1-0 in the first match. The hosts are returning from a 1-1 draw against eternal rivals Celtic and will now try the feat against another German after having eliminated Borussia Dortmund in the first round of the Europa League table, followed by successes with Crvena Zvezda and Braga.

Leipzig, fresh from eight straight away wins, in the previous rounds eliminated Atalanta and Real Sociedad, plus they are fifth in the Bundesliga and still in the running for a place in the Champions League. The German team is in an amazing moment of form, with 18 useful results in the last nineteen games. The only defeat came against Union Berlin. It will be a very different game from the first leg, in which the Rangers erected a fort that managed to hold back their opponents for over eighty minutes. If the Scots want to find the qualification, they will have to attack without giving too much space to the super attack of the Germans, with Nkuku, Dani Olmo, and Andrè Silva ready to slip into every available space.

Form Guide

Rangers WWWWLD

A 1-1 Premiership tie against Celtic has put Rangers in a good position for their matchup against Celtic.

The Rangers had 49 percent of the game’s possession and 14 shots on goal, five of which were on target. Fashion Sakala (67′) was the only player for Rangers to register a goal on the night. Celtic, on the other hand, had nine shots on goal, just one of which was on target. Jota (21′) scored the winning goal for Celtic.

Recently, the Rangers have not surrendered a single goal on a number of occasions. Rangers have been scored against in 5 of their last 6 matches, resulting in a total of 5 goals conceded. This will be a source of worry for them.

RB Leipzig WWWLWL

Following a defeat to Borussia Mönchengladbach in their most recent Bundesliga match, RB Leipzig will be looking to rebound here on Saturday.

RB Leipzig had 50 percent possession and 12 shots on goal at the start of the game, with seven of them finding the back of the net. Christopher Nkunku (36′) was the only player for RB Leipzig to get a goal on the night. Borussia Mönchengladbach made nine efforts on goal, with six of them going in. Breel Embolo (17′) and Jonas Hofmann (45′, 77′) scored goals for Borussia Mönchengladbach in the second half of the match.

RB Leipzig has scored eight goals in their previous six meetings. On each of those occasions, RB Leipzig has also scored a goal for itself. During that time frame, they have allowed six goals to find their way into their own net.

Rangers: (Nnamdi Ofoborh, Kemar Roofe, Filip Helander, Alfredo Morelos and Ianis Hagi)

RB Leipzig: (Amadou Haidara)

Rangers vs RB Leipzig Predicted XI

Rangers Predicted XI: McGregor, Tavernier, Goldson, Bassey, Barisic, Jack, Lundstram, Kamara, Aribo, Kent, Sakala.

RB Leipzig Predicted XI: Gulacsi, Klostermann, Gvardiol, Halstenberg, Henrichs, Laimer, Adams, Angeliño, Olmo, Nkunku, Adams

Prediction

The result of the first leg forces the Scots to play an offensive game, which risks the defense. For their part, Leipzig cannot rely too much on the result of the first leg and therefore will probably play openly, as they did in Bergamo with Atalanta.

Rangers will need to put in a strong performance if they are to score goals against this RB Leipzig team, who we believe will score and maintain their lead in the league.

Therefore, we believe that RB Leipzig will emerge victorious after a spirited 90-minute battle.

Marseille vs Feyenoord  | Conference League (05.05.2022, 21:00)

Usually, the semifinals of major competitions are balanced and highly tactical matches. Usually, precisely, because there are games that escape the rule, like Manchester City-Real Madrid, for example, or Feyenoord-Marseille, just to name another.

The first leg was a concentration of emotions, with the Dutch immediately ahead and the French forced to chase. In the end, the hosts won, with a result that, even if the away goals are no longer worth double, does not allow you to sleep too peacefully. The return match promises to be hot, just as hot as the Velodrome, which on these occasions can really represent the twelfth man on the pitch.

Form Guide

Marseille WLWWLL

Marseille will be seeking a better outcome here after suffering a 0-3 Ligue 1 defeat to Lyon in their last encounter.

At the end of the game, Marseille had 63 percent of the ball and had 9 attempts on goal, two of which were on target. Olympique Lyonnais made 12 efforts on goal, with five of them finding the back of the net. Three goals were scored by Castella Lukeba (55′), Moussa Dembélé (76′), and Karl Toko Ekambi (88′) in the first half of the game.

During their last six matches, Marseille have found the back of the net an incredible eight times. However, they conceded 10 goals in the same period, which is a record for the club.

Feyenoord DWWWWW

Defending Eredivisie champions Feyenoord come into this game off of a 1-3 victory against Fortuna Sittard in their last outing.

Feyenoord had 59 percent possession at the time of the game and 21 shots on goal, with nine of them finding the back of the net. Geertruida (8′, 25′) and Reiss Nelson (52′) scored goals for Feyenoord in the first half of the season. Fortuna Sittard, on the other hand, had 15 shots on goal, three of which were on target. Fortuna Sittard’s goal came from Zian Flemming in the 70th minute.

At least three goals have been scored in each of Feyenoord’s past six games, for a total of six goals in six games. A total of 4.5 goals were scored each game over that period, with Feyenoord averaging 3 goals per game on average during that time period as well.

Injured and suspended

Marseille: (Konrad de la Fuente and Leonardo Balerdi)

Feyenoord: (Justin Bijlow and Jens Toornstra)

Feyenoord vs Marseille Predicted XI

Marseille Predicted XI: Mandanda, Peres, Saliba, Caleta-Car, Rongier, Kamara, Gerson, Guendozi, Payet, Dieng, Bakambu.

Feyenoord Predicted XI: Marciano, Trauner, Malacia, Senesi, Geertruida, Til, Aursnes, Kökçü, Linssen, Nelson, Sinisterra.

Prediction

Marseille were considered favorites at first due to their compactness and squad quality, but after the first round, the situation clearly changed: The Dutch enjoy the favors of the prediction, even if getting out of the Velodrome unscathed is a difficult task.

Our prediction is that it will be a very tight game, with Marseille coming out on top by a 2-1 score at the conclusion of the game.

Roma vs Leicester City | Conference League (05.05.2022, 21:00)

Roma are preparing for the most important match of their season. A full house is expected at the Olimpico against Leicester to support José Mourinho’s men as they attempt to reach the Conference League final. To achieve this goal, the Giallorossi will have to play a great return semi-final against the English team and crown the great journey they took in this event. The first leg at the King Power Stadium ended 1-1; the momentary advantage of Pellegrini was followed by Mancini’s own goal in the second half of the game. In fact, the Italians are not in a great period of form and have never won in their last four games, including the last league match at home against Bologna.

The Special One team has had some difficulties scoring lately, but the support of the many fans could make the difference, just as it happened in the quarterfinals with Bodo Glimt. Even Leicester have not come from a good period in terms of results: with the defeat at Tottenham, the games without a win have risen to five for a team that this year has certainly performed below expectations in the league. The Foxes, however, had an excellent journey, sending Rennes and PSV home, and away from home, they risk being even more fearful given the results.

Form Guide

Roma WWDLDD

In the wake of a goalless draw against Bologna in Serie A, Roma prepares for this match.

Roma had 42 percent of the possession in the game and had 17 shots on goal, five of which were successful. Bologna had a total of 10 shots on goal, with four of them finding the net.

Roma have scored a total of nine goals in their last six matches under José Mourinho. It has resulted in a total of 6 goals being surrendered in those same games.

Leicester City WLDDDL

Leicester City and their travelling fans will be looking for a better outcome in this game after suffering a defeat in their last match against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

At the end of the match, Leicester City controlled 61 percent of the ball and had 7 shots on goal, with two of them going in. Kelechi Heanach (91′) was the lone player to score for Leicester City in the match. Tottenham Hotspur had a total of 13 shots on goal, seven of which were on target. Tottenham Hotspur scored two goals in the first half via Harry Kane (22′) and Heung-Min Son (60′ and 79′).

This season, Leicester City have performed well in the attacking third, scoring six goals in their last six games (see table). Having said that, Leicester City’s defense has been relatively porous, as seen by the fact that they have conceded goals in five of those same matches.

Injured and suspended

Roma: (Henrikh Mkhitaryan)

Leicester City: (Wilfred Ndidi)

Leicester City vs Roma Predicted XI

Roma Predicted XI: Patricio, Mancini, Smalling, Ibanez, Karsdorp, Cristante, Pellegrini, Zalewski, Mkhitaryan, Zaniolo, Abraham

Leicester City Predicted XI: Schmeichel, Fofana, Evans, Soyuncu, Pereira, Soumare, Tielemans, Castagne, Barnes, Vardy, Lookman.

Prediction

In the challenge in England, we noticed that it is a very balanced duel where the episodes will probably make the difference. In our opinion, Leicester City will have a difficult time breaking down this Roma team, who we believe should be able to get on the scoreboard themselves in a convincing victory.

As a result, we anticipate a very close game, with Roma taking a 1-0 victory at the conclusion of 90 minutes.
