Predictions 13-15.09.2022

Bayern Munich vs Barcelona | Champions League (13.09.2022, 21:00)

Bayern Munich and Barcelona are vying for first place in the group, which they are in. The Bavarians host the Catalans at the Allianz Arena for the second day of the group, and everything suggests an exciting challenge. The match between the Germans and the Spaniards will also, and most importantly, see the return of Robert Lewandowski to Munich as an opponent after his first hat-trick in the Champions League with Barcelona, against Viktoria Plzen.

After an overwhelming start, Bayern are strangely struggling in the league and are coming off three draws in a row. Nagelsmann’s side have conceded a few too many goals and are aiming to regain defensive equilibrium at the start of the season. Barcelona, on the other hand, is in a moment of truly spectacular form: four victories in the last four and 16 goals scored. The formation coached by Xavi plays splendid football and enhances the enormous qualities of the singles. The blaugrana attack with many and are effective, but they also suffer very little behind, which causes Bayern to be concerned about this challenge. Barcelona are then called upon to avenge the two previous ones from last year: two 3-0 straight wins in the Champions League group.

Form Guide

Bayern Munich WDWDWD

Bayern Munich’s previous match was a 2-2 draw against Stuttgart in a Bundesliga match.

During that match, Bayern Munich held possession of the ball for 67% of the game and had 19 shots on goal, with 6 of those shots finding the back of the net. Both of Bayern Munich’s goals came from Mathys Tel (in the 36th minute) and Jamal Musiala (in the 60th minute). On the other hand, Stuttgart had seven shots on goal, with three of them hitting the target. Stuttgart’s goals came from Chris Führich (in the 57th minute) and Serhou Guirassy (in the 90th minute).

Bayern Munich has not been able to stop scoring goals, as evidenced by the fact that they have scored in all six of their most recent matches.

They have scored a total of 18 goals over that time span, while the number of goals scored against them has remained at 4.

Barcelona DWWWWW

Barcelona comes into this match fresh off a victory in their most recent La Liga match, which they won 0-4 over Cádiz.

During that encounter, Barcelona had 71% possession of the ball and 16 shots on goal, with 8 of those shots finding the target. The goals for Barcelona were scored by Frenkie de Jong (in the 55th minute), Robert Lewandowski (in the 65th minute), Ansu Fati (in the 86th minute), and Ousmane Dembélé (in the 90th minute). On the other end of the field, Cadiz had six shots on goal, but none of them were successful.

In their last six matches, Barcelona’s potent offense has enabled them to rack up an impressive number of goals for themselves (18). That comes out to an impressive average of three goals scored every game over the course of this time period.

Bayern Munich: (Kingsley Coman).

Barcelona: clean bill of health and no suspension concerns.

Bayern Munich vs Barcelona Predicted XI

Bayern Munich Predicted XI: Neuer, Pavard, de Ligt, Hernandez, Davies, Kimmich, Sabitzer, Gnabry, Müller, Sane, Mané.

Barcelona Predicted XI: ter Stegen, Araujo, Kounde, García, Balde, De Jong, Busquets, Gavi, Dembélé, Lewandowski, Raphinha.

Prediction

It would appear like Barcelona will need to be at their absolute best in order to score goals against a Bayern Munich team that has the potential to not only rack up a large victory but also keep a clean sheet if they so choose.

When the game is over, we anticipate that Bayern Munich will have won by a decisive score of 3-0 and will have dominated the competition.

Sporting Lisbon vs Tottenham Hotspur | Champions League (13.09.2022, 18:45)

Sporting and Tottenham meet at the José Alvalade Stadium in Lisbon for the second round of Group D of the Champions League. Both teams are at the top of the group after winning their first matches: the Portuguese defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0, while Tottenham defeated Tudor’s Marseille.

Sporting finished last season in second place in the Primeira Liga behind Porto, while at the moment they are in sixth place in the standings with 10 points after 6 games played. In the last round, Amorim’s team beat Portimonense 4-0.

Conte has found the right alchemy for a Tottenham team that is confident and in second place in the Premier League, together with City, with 14 points after 6 games played. The fourth-place finish last season is forgotten, the Spurs’ undeclared goal is to fight for the title with Arsenal and City, and in the last round of the Premier League, Tottenham won 2-1 against Fulham. Conte wants to get to the knockout round. If Spurs beat Sporting, they would be well on their way to qualifying, so they will try to win.

Form Guide

Sporting Lisbon WLLWWW

The fans of Sporting Lisbon will be hoping for a result similar to their most recent match, which was a 4-0 victory over Portimonense in the Primeira Liga.

During that match, Sporting Lisbon held possession of the ball for 61% of the time and had 17 shots on goal, with 7 of them finding the target. Trinco scored two goals for Sporting Lisbon (7 and 41 minutes) and Nuno Santos scored one goal (76 minutes). On the other hand, Portimonense had four shots on goal, with one of them actually hitting the target. The goal for Portimonense came via an own goal scored by Pedro in the 73rd minute.

The number of games in which Sporting Lisbon has been involved that ended in a scoreless draw is an intriguing statistic.

If you take their previous six matches before this one, a bet on “Both Teams to Score” would have resulted in a loss in as many as six of those matches before this one.

Tottenham Hotspur DWWDWW

In their most recent trip, Tottenham Hotspur defeated Marseille 2-0 in the Champions League. They will come into this game riding high on that victory.

During that match, Tottenham Hotspur had 50 percent of the possession of the ball and 18 shots on goal, with only two of them finding the back of the net. Richarlison scored two goals for Tottenham Hotspur (in the 76th and 81st minutes). On the other end of the field, Marseille had nine shots on goal, with only one of them being successful.

The Tottenham Hotspur defense players have turned in a string of really strong performances recently, which has led to a reduction in the number of goals that their team has given up over the course of their most recent six matches combined. During this time period, their own forwards have scored 10 goals for them.

Injured and suspended

Sporting Lisbon: (Jovane Cabral, Daniel Bragança)

Tottenham Hotspur: (Lucas Moura, Bryan Gil).

Sevilla vs Manchester City Predicted XI

Sporting Lisbon Predicted XI: Adan, Esgaio, Coates, Inacio, Porro, Morita, Ugarte, Reis; Trincao, Edwards, Goncalves.

Tottenham Hotspur Predicted XI: Lloris, Romero, Lenglet, Dier, Emerson, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Perisic, Richarlison, Kane, Son.

Prediction

Two teams of tradition and experience face each other; at the moment, Tottenham are the favorites, but watch out for Sporting, which has recovered after a lazy start in the league. Whoever wins the mortgage in the final stages, the home factor can help the Portuguese, but the Conte factor can be equally decisive.

When going up against a Tottenham Hotspur team that should have a slight advantage, we believe that Sporting Lisbon will have a difficult time finding the back of the net against them.

When the final whistle blows, we observe a game that was quite close throughout, with Tottenham Hotspur emerging victorious with a score of 0-1 in their favor.

Liverpool vs Ajax | Champions League (13.09.2022, 21:00)

For the fifth time in their history, Liverpool and Ajax will face each other in European competition. The first of the two confrontations in the Champions League 2022/2023 is scheduled at Anfield Road and is valid as the second day of Group A. Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool swerved strongly to Diego Armando Maradona of Naples on their debut, losing 4-1, but were able to tidy up their ideas by not playing on the weekend when all British football came to a halt to commemorate the passing of Queen Elizabeth.

After defeating Rangers 4-0 in their Champions League debut, Alfred Schreuder’s Ajax recorded their seventh straight win in all competitions by defeating Heerenveen 5-0 at home in the following Eredivisie match.

Form Guide

Liverpool DLWWDL

After suffering a defeat in the last round of the Champions League against SSC Napoli by the score of 4-1, Liverpool will be looking to get back on track here.

During that match, Liverpool held a possession percentage of 61% and had 15 shots on goal, with 7 of them landing in the target area. Luis Diaz was the lone player to score for Liverpool, and his goal came in the 49th minute. Napoli had 18 shots on goal, but only 9 of them were on target.

Recent games against Liverpool have consistently lived up to expectations of being tense and high-scoring affairs for both teams. During the course of their most recent six head-to-head contests against one another, a grand total of 22 goals have been scored by both teams combined (at an average of 3.67 goals per game), with Liverpool receiving credit for 14 of those goals.

Ajax WWWWWW

Ajax will enter the match having just come off of a victory in the Eredivisie, where they defeated SC Heerenveen by a score of 5-0 in their most recent matchup.

Davy Klaassen scored for Ajax in the fourth minute, Kenneth Taylor scored in the sixteenth, Mohammed Kudus scored twice in the fifty-ninth, and Brian Brobbey scored in the seventieth.

In recent times, there has been a pretty continuous trend of at least one team failing to score when Ajax is involved in the game. Taking a look at their activities over the past six weekends reveals that it has happened five times. A total of one goal has been scored by Ajax’s opponents during these matchups, while the Dutch club has netted 22 goals themselves.

Injured and suspended

Liverpool: (Naby Keïta, Thiago, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Fábio Carvalho).

Ajax: (Francisco Conceição, Mohamed Ihattaren, Owen Wijndal).

Liverpool vs Ajax Predicted XI

Liverpool Predicted XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Elliott, Fabinho, Thiago, Jota, Nunez, Diaz.

Ajax Predicted XI: Pasveer; Rensch, Timber, Bassey, Blind; Berghuis, Alvarez, Taylor; Tadic, Kudus, Bergwijn.

Prediction

Ajax should have enough opportunities to score a goal against this Liverpool team throughout this game; on the other hand, the possibility that at least two goals will be scored in the first half, as happened at the debut of the two teams in the Champions League 2022-2023, is definitely captivating.

We are anticipating a competitive game, with Liverpool prevailing by a score of 2-1 when it is all said and done.

Real Madrid vs RB Leipzig | Champions League (14.09.2022, 21:00)

The European champion Real Madrid does not miss a beat and simply always wins: no point (or trophy, in the case of the European Super Cup) has been left “on the road” so far. Even the absence of Karim Benzema did not deter the Merengues, who made up for it with numerous other weapons, among which Vinicius stood out (he scored for the fifth consecutive game).

In the Champions League, Leipzig will try to slow or stop Carlo Ancelotti’s squad. Marco Rose’s team (which took over from Domenico Tedesco) immediately won and convinced in his coach’s debut match, beating highly-rated Dortmund with a 3-0 scoreline. The challenge of the Bernabeu appears prohibitive, but certainly Leipzig will arrive, at least with a better mood than until recently. In addition, in the last two games, Real Madrid have conceded something (a lot to Celtic, a little less to Mallorca, who also took the lead).

It will therefore be interesting to evaluate the attitude of the Germans and to understand if and how long they will be waiting against a team that, in fact, has found many resources “on the road” (Valverde and Vinicius above all) precisely in the possible moment of need. The 1-4 loss to Shaktar in the first match of the group still calls for a reaction, possibly more aggressive than expected, but we have seen and continue to see how lethal the Real are in the spaces. To new coach Marco Rose, the solution to the enigma, which has so far remained unsolved for all the opponents of the “Blancos” this season.

Form Guide

Real Madrid WWWWWW

Real Madrid will look to pick up where they left off in their previous match, which was a 4-1 victory over Mallorca in the La Liga competition.

Real Madrid had 69% possession of the ball during that encounter and 22 shots on goal, with 7 of them landing in the net. Federico Valverde (in the 45th minute), Vinicius Junior (in the 72nd minute), Rodrygo Goes (in the 89th minute), and Antonio Rüdiger (in the 93rd minute) scored the goals for Real Madrid. On the other side of the field, Mallorca had five shots on goal, but only two of them were on target. Vedat Muriqi (35′) scored for Mallorca.

Real Madrid have not had any issues when it comes to scoring, as they have found the back of the net in each and every one of their most recent six games that they have played.

They have scored a total of 18 goals during that period while only allowing five goals to be scored against them.

RB Leipzig LWWLLW

RB Leipzig will be coming into this encounter on the heels of a victory in their most recent Bundesliga match, which they won 3-0 against Borussia Dortmund.

During that match, RB Leipzig held 45% of the possession and had 15 shots on goal, with 5 of them finding their mark. Willi Orbán (6 minutes), Dominik Szoboszlai (45 minutes), and Amadou Haidara (84 minutes) were the players who scored goals for RB Leipzig. Five shots on goal were taken by Borussia Dortmund, but none of them were successful.

There have been at least three goals scored in each of the previous five and a half contests that RB Leipzig has participated in. During that stretch, the number of goals scored per game on average comes out to 4.17, and RB Leipzig has scored an average of 2.5 goals per game during that stretch.

Injured and suspended

Real Madrid: (Álvaro Odriozola, Éder Militão, Karim Benzema).

RB Leipzig: (Lukas Klostermann, Dani Olmo).

Real Madrid vs RB Leipzig Predicted XI

Real Madrid Predicted XI: Courtois; Carvajal, Rudiger, Alaba, Mendy; Kroos, Tchouameni, Camavinga; Rodrygo, Hazard, Vinicius.

RB Leipzig Predicted XI: Gulacsi; Simakan, Orban, Gvardiol; Henrichs, Laimer, Forsberg, Raum; Szoboszlai; Nkunku, Werner.

Prediction

Statistics tell us that Real wins but almost always concedes goals. We need to understand if this trend can also be confirmed in Leipzig. We think that RB Leipzig will have a hard time scoring, but we do see them as a threat at certain points in the game. The Germans “turned over” Dortmund without giving up any goals in the first half, and Real won even though their leader was out for most of the game.

As a result, Real Madrid will emerge victorious with a score of 3-1.

Chelsea vs Red Bull Salzburg | Champions League (14.09.2022, 21:00)

The national mourning for the disappearance of Queen Elizabeth II has postponed Graham Potter’s debut on the Chelsea bench, projecting him directly to the second day of the Champions League, where his team will have to deal with the terrifying Salzburg. There are many reasons for interest in the match, starting with the strict topicality of the standings: Chelsea lost unexpectedly against Dinamo Zagreb in the previous round and therefore will not be able to afford a defeat that would already oblige him to go into overtime. Secondly, the great curiosity is precisely for the first of the new post-Tuchel courses, whose exemption caused a stir and “psychologically devastated” the German coach, just to quote him. Finally (but not least), there is the opponent of the “Blues,” and what an opponent: Salzburg, national champion nine times in a row.

The Austrians are lately garnering a lot of praise and attention from the press and technicians, and actually, the football they express is effective, modern, and high-level. Milan, the Italian champion, knows something about it; they suffered a lot during the last match, then ripped off a 1-1 comeback.

“On paper,” the “branded” Red Bull team was the third force in the group, but the portentous start of the championship with seven wins out of eight, the good debut in the Champions League, and the problems of the group favorite (Chelsea) have already redesigned partially the forces in the field of a group that has already, all of a sudden, become very interesting and more uncertain than could have been foreseen as regards the passage to the second round.

Form Guide

Chelsea DLWLWL

After suffering a loss to Dinamo Zagreb in their previous Champions League match by the score of 1-0, Chelsea will be looking to get back on track here and get back to winning ways.

During that game, Chelsea held possession for 68% of the time and had 15 shots on goal, with only three of them finding the target. Dinamo Zagreb, on the other hand, had six shots on goal, with three of them actually hitting the target. Mislav Oršić (13′) scored for Dinamo Zagreb.

Chelsea has scored at least three goals in each of the last six matches in which it has participated. During these matches, Chelsea only managed to score seven goals, while the other teams combined for ten goals scored.

Red Bull Salzburg WWWWDW

In their most recent match, Red Bull Salzburg defeated SV Ried by a score of 0-3 to earn a win in the Bundesliga. They bring that victory into this matchup with them.

During that game, Red Bull Salzburg had a 50% possession rate and 18 shots on goal, with 9 of those shots finding the back of the net. Benjamin Šeško, Junior Chukwubuike Adamu, and Noah Okafor were the ones to score for Red Bull Salzburg in the first, fifteenth, and seventieth minutes, respectively. SV Ried had a total of 10 shots on goal, but none of them were successful.

In recent matches involving Red Bull Salzburg, it has become clear that there is a pattern developing in which at least one team is getting a clean sheet. When looking at their most recent six outings, we can see that it has happened five times. Red Bull Salzburg have scored 17 goals in those matches, while their rivals have only managed one goal in those contests.

Injured and suspended

Chelsea: (N’Golo Kanté, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang).

Red Bull Salzburg: (Luka Sucic, Sekou Koita, Kamil Piatkowski, Oumar Solet, Ousmane Diakité, Mamady Diambou, Maximilian Wöber, Justin Omoregie, Samson Tijani).

Chelsea vs Red Bull Salzburg Munich Predicted XI

Chelsea Predicted XI: Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta, Koulibaly, Fofana, James, Mount, Kovacic, Chilwell, Havertz, Aubameyang, Sterling.

Red Bull Salzburg Predicted XI: Köhn, Dedić, Bernardo, Pavlovic, Ulmer, Capaldo, Seiwald, Kjaergaard, Kameri, Sesko, Okafo.

Prediction

The match promises to be full of tension, but Salzburg seems mature enough to withstand a possible initial assault from the “Blues.” The Londoners, however, have shown that they have more of a problem finding the goal in the first forty-five minutes.

Our analysis suggests that Red Bull Salzburg has it in them to score against this Chelsea team; yet, we also believe that even if they do so, it is possible that they will still wind up giving up a few goals at the other end.

We think the game will be close, with Chelsea leading 2-1 after the first 90 minutes.

Juventus vs Benfica | Champions League (14.09.2022, 21:00)

Juve host Benfica at Allianz Stadium in the second round of Group H of the Champions League. The Bianconeri lost 2-1 on their debut in Europe against PSG at the Parco dei Principi, while the Portuguese beat Maccabi Haifa 1-0. Juve are back from the 2-2 league draw against Salernitana, with Bonucci and Bremer scoring, with three expulsions in the final: Allegri, Cuadrado, and Milik. And in the standings, they have already accumulated 4 points behind the top teams after only two games out of six, with four draws.

Benfica has had an incredible start to the season, leading the Portuguese League with 18 points after six days. There are 11 victories out of 11 official matches played; it is difficult to do better than this for coach Schmidt, an ex-PSV Eindhoven, who is determined to do better than the quarterfinals reached last season. Benfica did not lose certainty in attack despite the sale of the star Darwin Nunez, while the new Juventus signings, Pogba and Di Maria, were stopped by injuries. After the group stage of the Champions League, the Frenchman won’t be able to play again until the knockout round. In the meantime, Allegri has had to change the midfield without one of his leading players.

Form Guide

Juventus DDWDLD

Juventus comes into this match on the back of a 2-2 draw against Salernitana in Serie A.

During that match, Juventus held 61% of the possession and had 22 shots on goal, with 7 of them finding the back of the net. Both Bremer (in the 51st minute) and Leonardo Bonucci (in the 93rd minute) scored for Juventus. 11 of Salernitana’s shots were sent toward the goal, with 5 of them being successful. Antonio Candreva and Krzysztof Pitek scored goals for Salernitana in the 18th and 45th minutes, respectively.

In their last six matches, the Juventus team coached by Massimiliano Allegri has found the back of the net seven times. On the other hand, the total number of goals that they have allowed to be scored against them in the same time period is six.

Benfica have scored a combined total of 14 goals during the course of their most recent six matches against their opponents. Benfica have also managed to find their way onto the scoresheet in each and every one of those contests. During that span of time, they have had three goals scored into the net that they themselves are guarding.

Injured and suspended

Juventus: (Wojciech Szczesny, Paul Pogba, Federico Chiesa)

Benfica: (João Victor, Morato).

Juventus vs Benfica Predicted XI

Juventus Predicted XI: Perin, Cuadrado, Bonucci, Bremer, Danilo, Miretti, Rabiot, Paredes, Milik, Vlahovic, Kostic.

Benfica Predicted XI: Vlachodimos, Gilberto, Silva, Otamendi, Grimaldo, Fernández, Luís, Neres Campos, Silva, Draxler, Musa.

Prediction

A complicated game in a very delicate moment for Juventus, still far from what Allegri would like. And with half a team in the pits due to injury. Benfica are unstoppable in the league and will not settle for a draw, while Allegri will try to lock down the defense to avoid conceding goals.

Benfica has the ability to break through the defense that this Juventus team is using in this match; yet, it is likely that this will not be the maximum number of goals that Juventus will allow.

The game is going to be very close, and Juventus is going to come out on top with a score of 2-1 at the end.

Manchester City vs Borussia Dortmund | Champions League (14.09.2022, 21:00)

After the feast of goals against Sevilla and Copenhagen, Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund will face each other on Wednesday, September 14, at 9 p.m. for the head of Group G of the Champions League.

Guardiola, who lost the Charity Shield, has recovered and is now second in the Premier League, trailed by Haaland, the challenge’s most anticipated ex. Borussia Dortmund, on the other hand, has recently stumbled into the Bundesliga, where they are fifth. It is the remake of last season’s quarterfinal match, when the Citizens went through.

Form Guide

Manchester City WDWWDW

After beating Sevilla 0-4 in the Champions League, Manchester City is looking to add another success to their resume.

During that game, Manchester City held possession for 62% of the time and had 24 shots on goal, 10 of which were on target. Erling Haaland scored twice (20 and 67 minutes), Phil Foden scored once (58 minutes), and Rben Dias scored once (92 minutes) for Manchester City. The opposing team, Sevilla, had a total of six shots on goal, but only one of them was successful.

Recent games involving Manchester City have consistently been entertaining affairs, with a high number of goals being scored, as opposed to being the exception rather than the rule. During the course of their most recent six head-to-head contests against one another, a grand total of 28 goals have been scored for both clubs combined (at an average of 4.67 goals per game), with Manchester City being responsible for 22 of those goals.

Borussia Dortmund WLWWWL

After suffering a defeat in their previous match in the Bundesliga tournament against RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund will be looking to turn things around here.

During that match, Borussia Dortmund had a possession rate of 55% and attempted 5 attempts on goal, but none of them were successful. On the opposite end of the field, RB Leipzig had 15 shots on goal, with 5 of them finding their mark. Willi Orbán (6′), Dominik Szoboszlai (45′), and Amadou Haidara (84′) scored for RB Leipzig.

The Borussia Dortmund team managed by Edin Terzi has been rewarded for their shots on goal a combined 10 times during the course of their most recent six matches. They have surrendered a total of 7 goals in those same matches due to goals scored by their opponents.

Injured and suspended

Manchester City: clean bill of health and no suspension concerns.

Borussia Dortmund: (Mateu Morey Bauzà, Thorgan Hazard, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, Gregor Kobel, Sébastien Haller, Mahmoud Dahoud.).

Manchester City vs Borussia Dortmund Predicted XI

Manchester City Predicted XI: Ederson, Cancelo, Dias, Akanji, Gomez, Silva, Rodri, De Bruyne, Foden, Haaland, Grealish.

Borussia Dortmund Predicted XI: Meyer, Meunier, Sule, Schlotterbeck, Guerreiro, Ozcan, Bellingham, Brandt, Reus, Reyna, Modeste.

Prediction

We are inclined to believe that Manchester City will enjoy the majority of possession and should be able to convert a couple of their opportunities into goals. This is because Manchester City has a better overall team.

While it’s possible that Borussia Dortmund will have a tough time going on the scoresheet, we think they’ll be able to respond with a goal at some point in the match.

After the full 90 minutes, our best guess is that Manchester City will emerge victorious by a score of 3-1.

Arsenal vs PSV Eindhoven | Europa League (15.09.2022, 21:00)

At the Emirates, a very interesting challenge sees Arsenal and PSV face to face, two teams that love to play attacking and who have quality players in the middle of the field. This match represents an opportunity for Arsenal to take a decisive step towards group victory, as they have already won in Zurich and would go to 6 points; PSV, coming off a 1-1 draw at home with Bodo and Glimt, going out without points could increase the pressure in light of the rest of the competition.

Form Guide

Arsenal WWWWLW

Arsenal will be looking for a result similar to their most recent one, which was a victory in the Europa League over FC Zürich by a score of 1-2.

During that game, Arsenal had 70 percent of possession and 18 shots on goal, with eight of those shots hitting the target. Marquinhos (16′) and Eddie Nketiah (62′) were the players who found the back of the net for Arsenal. The Zürich offense managed to get 10 shots on goal, but only four of them were on target. The goal for FC Zürich came in the 44th minute from Mirlind Kryeziu.

In recent matches, Arsenal has not maintained a scoreless draw an unusually low percentage of the time. The fact of the matter is that Arsenal have allowed goals to be scored against them in 5 of their most recent 6 matches, totaling 8 goals conceded along the way.

PSV Eindhoven LWWLDW

PSV Eindhoven comes into this game on the heels of a 1-0 Eredivisie win over RKC Waalwijk.  Cody Gakpo was the lone player from PSV Eindhoven to score (in the 96th minute).

In the last six games that PSV Eindhoven have participated in, there have been a total of 22 goals scored, which works out to an average of 3.67 goals scored per contest. This demonstrates the team’s propensity for productive contests, which we can see by the fact that we’ve had goals in each of those games. Their competitors have been able to score six of these goals.

Injured and suspended

Arsenal: (Reiss Nelson, Mohamed Elneny, Thomas Partey).

PSV Eindhoven: (Olivier Boscagli, Luuk de Jong, Fredrik Oppegard, Mauro Júnior, Marco van Ginkel, Noni Madueke).

Arsenal vs PSV Eindhoven Predicted XI

Arsenal Predicted XI: Ramsdale, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Xhaka, Lokonga, Saka, Smith Rowe, Martinelli, Jesus

PSV Eindhoven Predicted XI: Benitez; Max, Obispo, Ramalho, Teze; Gutierrez, Veerman, Sangare; Gakpo, Simons, El-Ghazi.

Prediction

It appears as though PSV Eindhoven will need to play at a very high level in order to find the back of the net against an Arsenal squad that appears to be in control of this match if everything goes according to our expectations.

After everything is said and done, we predict that Arsenal will emerge victorious by a score of 3-0.
