Predictions 22-24.04.2023

Barcelona vs Atlético Madrid | La Liga (23.04.2023, 16:15)

The thirtieth day of the season is played in La Liga, and the one between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid is undoubtedly the key match. At the Camp Nou, the Blaugrana are looking for their 24th victory and a further extension on their pursuers, who are already 11 points behind. Los Colchoneros, on the other hand, want the coup to continue the assault on second place and try to overtake their rivals, Real Madrid. Barca are not in a particularly brilliant moment because they are back from two 0-0 draws in a row, against Girona and Getafe, which followed the heavy elimination in the Copa del Rey against Real. However, Xavi’s boys continue to be the best defense in Europe, with only nine goals conceded—a crazy number.

Numbers that could, however, worsen an Atletico in great form, who have won all of their last six games and who have not lost in La Liga since last January 8, right in the first leg against Barcelona. In that case, the Catalans prevailed 0-1 at the Wanda Metropolitano thanks to a goal scored by Ousmane Dembelè. An exciting match therefore awaits us, with two teams chasing their respective goals and not wanting to concede anything.

Form Guide

Barcelona WWWLDD

Barcelona enters this match coming off a draw against Getafe in the previous round of the La Liga competition.

During that game, Barcelona held possession for 67% of the time and had 15 shots on goal, with only three of them finding the target. Getafe had five shots on goal, but only one of them was on target.

Recent games involving Barcelona have had a high frequency of scores that end in nil, which is an intriguing statistic to look at.

If you had placed a bet on “Both Teams to Score” in any of their prior six matches leading up to this one, you would have lost money in as many as five of those matches.

Atlético Madrid WWWWWW

Atletico Madrid will enter this encounter riding the momentum of a 2-1 victory in their most recent La Liga match, which they played against UD Almera and won.

During that match, Atlético Madrid had 64 percent possession of the ball and 19 shots on goal, with seven of those shots finding their mark. Two shots were taken by Almera, but none of them were on target. Leo Baptistão (37′) scored for UD Almería.

Atlético Madrid’s defensive players have put together a string of reliable performances, which has led to a reduction in the number of goals their team has conceded over the course of their most recent six matches, which stands at three. 15 goals have been scored by them during that span of time, making them the team with the highest goal-scoring average.

Barcelona vs Atlético Madrid Predicted XI

Barcelona Predicted XI: Ter Stegen; Kounde, Araujo, Alonso, Balde; Kessie, Busquets, Gavi; Raphinha, Lewandowski, Fati.

Atlético Madrid Predicted XI: Oblak; Hermoso, Savic, Gimenez; Molina, De Paul, Barrios, Koke, Carrasco; Morata, Griezmann.

We believe that Atlético Madrid possesses the firepower necessary to defeat this Barcelona club; nevertheless, the number of goals they score is unlikely to come close to matching the number of goals that Barcelona could allow.

We anticipate a very competitive match, with Barcelona emerging victorious by a score of 2-1 once the full match has been played.

Brighton vs Manchester United | FA Cup (23.04.2023, 17:30)

Brighton and Manchester United will not play in the Premier League over the weekend because they face each other in the semi-final of the FA Cup. They play at Wembley in a one-off match, and both want to earn the chance to play in the final against the winner of the other match between Manchester City and Sheffield United. Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton is completing a truly sumptuous season. The former Sassuolo coach took over the club after Graham Potter’s farewell and continued the excellent work of the current Chelsea coach, keeping the team in the European zone. In the FA Cup, the path was not impossible, but in the round of 32, they sent Liverpool home.

Instead, the Red Devils knocked out Everton, Reading, and West Ham to get here. Erik ten Hag’s team has now come out of the Europa League but is still fighting for a place in the Champions League after the championship. There are many unavailable on both sides. Hosts without Lallana, Lamptey, Sarmiento, and Veltman, while absent for the guests, are Garnacho, Greenwood, Martinez, Varane, and van de Beek. In the Premier League, Brighton won 1-2 at Old Trafford with a brace from Gross.

Brighton WWDWLW

After taking the Premier League match against Chelsea by a score of 1-2, Brighton is looking to add another success to their resume.

During that match, Brighton & Hove Albion had 58% of the ball and 24 shots on goal, with 9 of those shots landing in the target area. On the other hand, Chelsea had eight shots on goal, with two of them actually hitting the target.

Recent matches against Brighton & Hove Albion have consistently delivered a high level of entertainment, with a flurry of goalmouth activity serving as more of the norm than the exception. Over the course of their most recent half dozen matches, a combined total of 20 goals have been scored by both teams (which works out to an average of 3.33 goals per match), with Brighton & Hove Albion being responsible for 14 of these goals scored.

Manchester United LWWDWL

Manchester United and their fans who traveled with them will be hoping for a better outcome here after the club’s previous Europa League match, which they played and ultimately lost to Sevilla.

During that match, Manchester United held 62% of the possession and had 16 shots on goal, with only 3 of them finding the target. The 19 shots that were taken by Sevilla were only able to find the target 6 times.

In recent games involving Manchester United, it has become clear that there is a pattern in which at least one of the teams does not score a goal. A quick look at their results from the last six games reveals that it has occurred five times over that span. During these head-to-head contests, Manchester United has scored seven goals, while their opponents have managed seven goals combined.

Brighton vs Manchester United Predicted XI

Brighton Predicted XI: Sanchez; Gross, Webster, Dunk, Estupinan; Caicedo, Mac Allister; March, Enciso, Mitoma; Welbeck.

Manchester United Predicted XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Shaw, Malacia; Casemiro, Eriksen; Antony, Fernandes, Rashford; Weghorst.

Although it is difficult to pick a winner here, we believe that both Manchester United and Brighton have a good chance of finding the back of the net.

It was a very tight vote, and we believe that a tie is most likely the outcome. Because of this, our forecast is for a very tight match that will end with a score of 1-1 after 90 minutes.

Juventus vs Napoli | Serie A (23.04.2023, 24:45)

Juventus hosts Napoli at the Stadium in the big match of the 31st round of Serie A. It was a very hot week for the Bianconeri, who regained their 15 penalty points from the Sports Guarantee College and climbed up to third place in the standings, in full run Champions. While awaiting the new sentence of the Federal Court of Appeal (with possible new sanctions also in terms of points), the other good news is the reopening of the South Tribune, with the club’s appeal accepted after the disqualification round inflicted by the Sports Judge. Juve’s game against Sporting Lisbon ended in a 1-1 draw, which allowed them to go to the semifinals of the Europa League. There, they will meet Sevilla, who advanced by defeating Manchester United in the previous round. In Serie A, the Bianconeri come off two consecutive defeats, against Lazio and Sassuolo.

Napoli, on the other hand, returned from elimination in the quarterfinals of the Champions League at the hands of Milan with a decisive 1-1 draw against Maradona signed by Giroud and Osimhen after the Rossoneri victory at San Siro. However, the Azzurri are at the top of a championship that is never in question, and in the last round they drew 0-0 against Verona. Spalletti will have to weigh fatigue and post-Champions stimuli; some changes are possible. In 433 in front of Lozano, Osimhen, and Kvara. Out Simeone, Mario Rui, Politano, and Rrahmani. In defense, Juan Jesus paired with Kim, with Olivera on the left in place of Rui. Zielinski-Elmas ballots in midfield. Allegri evaluates the trident, but 352 is not excluded. With doubts in attack and Vlahovic in crisis, Milik could play. Bremer is not at his best and could catch his breath. Kean is still out.

In terms of the distribution of goals scored during this era, the goals scored by Juventus were five, while the goals scored by the other teams brought the total to five.

The match that came before this one between Napoli and AC Milan ended in a 1-1 draw in the Champions League.

During that match, Napoli managed to have 74% possession of the ball and 23 shots on goal, with only 4 of those shots being on target. AC Milan had a total of 6 shots on goal, of which 4 were on target.

Juventus vs Napoli Predicted XI

Juventus Predicted XI: Szczesny; Danilo, Gatti, Sandro; De Sciglio, Fagioli, Locatelli, Rabiot, Kostic; Milik, Vlahovic.

Napoli Predicted XI: Meret; Di Lorenzo, Kim, Jesus, Olivera; Anguissa, Lobotka, Zielinski; Lozano, Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia.

In what looks to be a very close contest between Napoli and Juventus, we think that there is a good chance that both teams will find themselves scoring at some point.

There is a possibility that neither side will emerge victorious or defeated. As a consequence of this, we anticipate that the game will end with the score tied 1-1 after the first ninety minutes.
