Predictions 29-30.03.2022

Portugal vs North Macedonia | WC Qualifiers – Europe (29.03.2022, 20:45)

Many, almost all, expected Portugal and Italy to play for one of the remaining spots at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, but instead the Lusitanian coach, Fernando Santos, will face the surprise of North Macedonia at the Estadio do Dragao in Porto.

The Macedonians of coach Blagoja Milevski achieved the feat by conquering the Renzo Barbera Stadium in Palerma with a 1-0 victory over Italy, signed by the ex-Palermo player Alekasandar Trajkovski. Al do Dragao will be decidedly more complicated against a team that has great attacking strength and that, in the other match at the same time, defeated Turkey 3-1 with goals from Otavio, Diogo Jota, and Matheus Nunes. The Portuguese have two precedents, both friendly, which give a further advantage in the prediction.

Form Guide

Portugal WWWDLW

Following their 3-1 WC Qualifiers-Europe triumph over Turkey, Portugal will be looking to win once more.

In the game, Portugal had 60% possession and 16 shots on goal, eight of which were on target. Otávio (15′), Diogo Jota (42′), and Matheus Nunes (94′) scored goals for Portugal. Turkey had a total of 12 shots on goal, 5 of which were on target. Turkey’s goal came from Burak Ylmaz (65′).

In five of the last six games in which Portugal has competed, three or more goals have been scored per game. During this time, opposing teams managed to score three, while Portugal managed to score a total of 15.

North Macedonia DWLWWW

North Macedonia will enter the match on the back of a 0-1 WC Qualifiers-Europe victory against Italy in their previous match.

North Macedonia controlled the game with 34% possession and four shots on goal, two of which were on target. Trajkovski (92′) scored the goal for North Macedonia. Italy, on the other hand, had 32 shots on goal, five of which were on target.

In recent games involving North Macedonia, the trend of at least one team failing to score has grown quite consistent. This has happened five times in their last six games, according to their stats. In these matches, North Macedonia has scored 13 goals, with opposition teams scoring a total of five goals.

  • In the previous two, both friendlies, Portugal won 1-0 in Lausanne in 2003, while the two teams drew 0-0 in Leiria in 2012.
  • Portugal have won 4 of their last 5 games at home.
  • In 3 of their last 4 home games, Portugal took the lead in the 1st half and then won the match.
  • Macedonia has won the last 3 races played.

Injured and suspended

Portugal: clean bill of health and no suspension concerns.

North Macedonia: clean bill of health and no suspension concerns.

Portugal vs North Macedonia Predicted XI

Portugal Predicted XI: Costa; Cancelo, Pereira, Fonte, Guerreiro; Silva, Moutinho, Fernandes; Otavio, Ronaldo, Jota.

North Macedonia Predicted XI: Dimitrievski; S. Ristovski, Velkovski, Musliu, Alioski; Elmas, Kostadinov, Bardhi; Churlinov, M. Ristovski, Trajkovski.

Prediction

We think that, even with what Portugal showed in the semifinals of these playoffs, the match will be quite another thing than Italy’s bad performance. We have a feeling that Portugal will create enough chances to score more than one goal against North Macedonia, who may struggle to score goals.

The Portuguese are favorites for the final victory. At the end of 90 minutes, we expect Portugal to win by a score of 2-0.

Poland vs Sweden | WC Qualifiers – Europe (29.03.2022, 20:45)

Ninety minutes to qualify for the World Cup. Poland and Sweden face off in a competition that is worth four years of work. The Poles did not play in the semifinals because Russia was excluded from qualifying, and they are in a good period, as evidenced by their three victories in the last four official matches. The defeat against Hungary is irrelevant as Lewandowski and his teammates were already sure of their passage to the playoffs.

Sweden, on the other hand, is going through a difficult period and was very close to closing the group as before, but instead lost to Georgia by being overtaken by Spain. In the first game of the playoffs, they beat the Czech Republic only in extra-time.

Form Guide

Poland DWWWLD

Poland will compete in this match after a 1-1 draw with Scotland in an International Friendlies match. Poland have been on a goal-scoring spree recently, scoring in each of their last six outings.

During that time, they’ve scored a total of 13 goals while allowing 5 goals to be scored against them.

Sweden LWWLLW

Sweden will enter the match on the back of a 1-0 WC Qualifiers-Europe victory over the Czech Republic in their previous match.

Sweden had 57 percent of the possession and 10 shots on goal, two of which were on target. Quaison (110′) was Sweden’s goal scorer. On the other hand, the Czech Republic had ten shots on goal, two of which were on target. Sweden eventually prevailed in extra time to win the match.

In recent games involving Sweden, there has been a tendency for at least one side to keep a clean sheet. This has happened five times in their last six games, according to their stats. During those matches, their opponents have scored a total of five goals, while Sweden has scored seven.

  • Poland have won six of their last nine games.
  • Sweden has not won in ninety minutes in three games, suffering two defeats and a draw.
  • Ibrahimovic’s team struggles, particularly away from home. Three defeats in a row and four games without a win.
  • Poland have lost only two of their last eight games at home.

Sweden: (Martin Olsson)

Poland vs Sweden Predicted XI

Poland Predicted XI: Szczesny; Bereszynski, Glik, Bednarek; Cash, Krychowiak, Zurkowski, Reca; Moder, Zielinski; Lewandowski.

Sweden Predicted XI: Olsen; Danielson, Lindelof, Nilsson, Bengtsson; Kulusevski, Ekdal, Olsson, Forsberg; Isak, Ibrahimovic.

Prediction

Poland will win and get a place in the World Cup. Playing at home will be the biggest advantage for a team that is so talented, even if it sometimes runs in circles. Sweden, who found Ibrahimovic after the disqualification, are in a period of negative form, mainly due to the incredible final of the qualifying round. It took very little to qualify for the World Cup the year before, in front of Spain, but the defeat in Georgia changed everything, leaving an evident dross on the Scandinavians, who in fact have not won since that day.

The match with the Czech Republic showed all the difficulties of Sweden, which, among other things, will arrive at the challenge with 120 minutes on its legs. Fatigue will not be a problem for Poland, who did not play the first match against Russia, with the Soviet selection being excluded from the competition. In this case, Lewandowski and his teammates therefore have two advantages: more energy and a favorable stage. In our opinion, they will take advantage of this to qualify for the World Cup.

Netherlands vs Germany | Friendlies (29.03.2022, 20:45)

Holland and Germany are two of the national teams that will certainly participate in the Qatar 2022 World Cup. This is the moment of the preparatory friendly matches in light of this historic event. Germany is clearly one of the most anticipated teams in the competition, and the Germans are proving to be on the rise.

The match against the Orange will be a good test of maturity for Neuer and his teammates, after an almost perfect qualification path, net of a surprise defeat at home against Macedonia, an unpredictable team, as unfortunately we also know very well. Holland’s journey is much more complicated.

Form Guide

Netherlands WWWWDW

After defeating Denmark 4-2 in the International Friendlies, the Netherlands will be seeking for another victory.

The Netherlands’ backline has had a tremendous run recently, as evidenced by their recent results. The Netherlands have been stingy with their goals, with only three going past their goalkeeper in their last six matches.

Germany WWWWWD

Germany will enter the match fresh off a 2-0 win over Israel in an International Friendlies match.

At least three goals have been scored in five of the previous six encounters between Germany and other nations. The overall average number of goals scored per match throughout that period is 4.17, with Germany averaging 3.83. It will be fascinating to see if the current trend can be continued in the upcoming encounter.

  • The Orange won seven of the ten games played during the qualifiers, finishing first in front of Turkey.
  • Germany, on the other hand, has won nine games out of a total of ten played in Group J of the World Qualifiers.
  • The only defeat, was the one suffered at home at the hands of Macedonia by Pandev and his teammates (1-2 the final result).

Netherlands: clean bill of health and no suspension concerns

Germany: (Joshua Kimmich)

Netherlands vs Germany Predicted XI

Netherlands Predicted XI: Flekken; Dumfries, De Ligt, Van Dijk, Wijndal; Wijnaldum, De Jong; Bergwijn, Berghuis, Danjuma; Depay.

Germany Predicted XI: Neuer; Kehrer, Rudiger, Ginter, Raum; Gundogan, Neuhaus; Sane, Muller, Havertz; Werner.

Prediction

There are eight consecutive victories for the Germans after their elimination from the European Championship at the hands of England. The Netherlands, on the other hand, are on a streak of eight consecutive games (six wins and two draws). These are two teams in very good form, but Germany seems to us to be a more continuous and squared off team.

It’s possible that the game will end in a tie. When the referee blows the full-time whistle, we see a fairly level contest with a 1-1 score.

Turkey vs Italy | Friendlies (29.03.2022, 20:45)

Turkey and Italy will meet in this friendly match, wanted by FIFA between the teams that failed to win the semifinal match valid for a place in Qatar 2022, in a match that will be played in Turkey, 7 Italian players have already given forfeit, not participating in the game accordingly.

We are talking about Immobile, Insigne, Felipe Luiz, Verratti, Jorginho, Berardi, and Mancini, who left the Coverciano training camp. In fact, their absence will totally revolutionize the formation that will take the field against Turkey.

Form Guide

Turkey LDWWWL

Turkey will be hoping to avoid a repetition of their 3-1 WC Qualifiers-Europe defeat to Portugal last time out.

Turkey had 40% possession and 12 shots on goal, five of which were on target during the game. Burak Ylmaz (65′) was Turkey’s goal scorer. Portugal had 16 shots on goal, eight of which were on target. Portugal’s goals came from Otávio (15′), Diogo Jota (42′), and Matheus Nunes (94′).

Turkey has had little trouble scoring goals recently, scoring in each of their last six encounters.

During that time, they’ve scored a total of 13 goals while allowing 12 goals to be scored against them.

Italy WLWDDL

After losing their previous match in the WC Qualifiers-Europe competition against North Macedonia, Italy and its fans will be hoping for a better result today.

Italy had 66 percent possession and 32 shots on goal, 5 of which were on target in that game. North Macedonia had four shots on goal, two of which were on target. North Macedonia scored through Trajkovski (92′).

Roberto Mancini’s Italy have scored nine goals in their last six matches, giving them a goal per game average of 1.5.

Turkey vs Italy Predicted XI

Turkey Predicted XI: Cakir; Kabak, Demiral, Soyuncu; Celik, Kokcu, Calhanoglu, Kutlu; Under, Unal, Dursun.

Italy Predicted XI: Donnarumma; Florenzi, Chiellini, Bastoni, Emerson; Tonali, Pellegrini, Pessina; Pedro, Politano, Raspadori.

Prediction

Looking at these two teams, we believe Turkey will have to put in a lot of effort to score against this Italy lineup, which we believe will score at least one goal in a win.

Prediction for this match: Italy wins by a score of 0-1, even though Italy is certainly not in the best of physical form.

Bolivia vs Brazil  | WC Qualifiers – South America (30.03.2022, 01:30)

Brazil, leader of the South American Qualifiers with 42 points and with the ticket to the Qatar 2022 World Cup secured several days in advance, will visit Bolivia this Tuesday at the Hernando Siles Stadium in La Paz.

For its part, Bolivia will try to close the qualifiers with a victory at home. The team led by César Farías will have the presence of its scorer, Moreno Martins, who missed the match against Colombia at the Metropolitano de Barranquilla.

Form Guide

Bolivia LWWLLL

Bolivia will be aiming for a better result after losing 3-0 to Colombia in their last WC Qualifiers-South America match.

In six of the previous six games in which Bolivia has competed, at least three goals per game have been scored. During this span, opposition teams scored 13 times, while Bolivia only scored 11 times.

Brazil WWDDWW

Brazil enters the contest on the back of a 4-0 WC Qualifiers-South America victory over Chile in their previous match.

Brazil’s defense players have only conceded two goals in their last six matches combined, thanks to a string of strong performances. Their own assault force has scored 14 points in that period. We’ll have to see if that pattern continues into the next match.

Injured and suspended

Bolivia: clean bill of health and no suspension concerns.

Brazil: (Ederson Moraes)

Bolivia vs Brazil Predicted XI

Bolivia Predicted XI: Cordano; Enoumba, Haquin, Carrasco, Sagredo, Fernandez; Menacho, Villarroel, Vaca, Garcia; Montenegro.

Brazil Predicted XI: Alisson; Danilo, Marquinhos, Silva, Arana; Casemiro, Fabinho; Richarlison, Coutinho, Vinicius; Neymar.

Prediction

Bolivia has an inexperienced team and will be the clear underdogs in their match against Brazil. If they are to achieve a positive outcome, they will need a solid team performance.

As a result, we believe Brazil will win by a slender 1-2 margin at full-time.

Ecuador vs Argentina | WC Qualifiers – South America (30.03.2022, 01:30)

Despite not having much of a chance to take a place in the top five of the South American World Cup qualifying round, Ecuador managed to book their place in the tournament impressively, having started off on the attack.

After a narrow defeat to opponents on Tuesday at the start of the season, La Tri recorded three straight wins to establish itself in the lead group and, with 16 points from their first 10 games, sat in a reasonably strong position.

Gustavo Alfaro’s team then made another crucial run together, remaining five games unbeaten with wins over Venezuela and Chile, surrounded by draws with Colombia, Brazil, and Peru, bringing them to the brink of qualifying for the last two games.

With 11 wins and five draws in 16 games, La Albiceleste is behind only Brazil and boasts a 13-point lead over Tuesday’s third-placed rivals thanks to impressive records at both ends of the pitch, with only the leaders improving their tally of 26 goals and conceding fewer than the seven goals.

They arrive at Tuesday’s match after winning all three qualifying matches since the start of the year, losing to Chile and Colombia for the first time in the first round of matches in 2022.

Form Guide

Ecuador WWDDDL

Ecuador will not want a recurrence of their previous outcome, which saw them lose 3-1 to Paraguay in a WC Qualifiers-South America match.

In five of the last six encounters in which Ecuador has competed, there have been fewer than three goals per game. In terms of goal totals from that period, their opponents scored a total of six, while Ecuador scored seven. We’ll have to wait and see if that tendency continues in this case.

Argentina WWWDWW

Argentina enters this match fresh off a 3-0 WC Qualifiers-South America victory against Venezuela in their most recent match.

Argentina’s defense squad has put up a string of strong performances, with only one goal conceded in their last six matches. During that time, their own attack force has scored eight goals.
